The album "Q-NRG" features Toby and his brother Jens as vocalists, musicians, co-producers and writers. This production marks the beginning of Toby's seven year collaboration with German top producer Frank Farian. The four piece live band "Q" played numerous shows promoting the record. Guest critic George Clinton was so impressed by the album that he invited Toby and Jens to join his band "The Parliament" on his Munich concert. The album includes "RainyDay" performed by Toby. This song made it to #5 in the radio charts and was aired frequently on rainy mornings as a "good morning wake up song".�
